The weeks are flying by or so it seems, meanwhile we are holding on to everything so it doesn't go flying away in the wind this week, compared to the glorious sunshine we had last week.

It's much quieter on park now all the little people are back at school, but it was great to be part of the team making sure everyone had an enjoyable holiday, which included baking pastries and bread for all the hungry tourers.

This is what Becky gets up to whilst Steve stays in bed in the morning. They are delicious

Hi All, Becky here

This isn't a travel related question but more of a life question for our, shall we say, better with age female followers 😍

I'm at an age of the dreaded perimenopause and am getting blasted with hot flashes, joint aches (more than usual) and Steve would tell you I'm moody but he's not always right 🤣.

I would like to ask your thoughts on HRT?

I've always had "I CAN DO THIS ON MY OWN" strong independent woman type of attitude, so have no idea whether to try it or not, given that my GP is in Stoke and I'm in Cornwall.

From there, we continue through the towering cliffs of Todra Gorge on our way to one of the highlights of our entire Morocco trip… the Sahara Desert in Merzouga.

We spend 5 amazing nights soaking up desert life, exploring the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, taking an epic quad bike ride across the Sahara, and hiking through the endless sand dunes at sunset

4 months later… and finally our Morocco videos are arriving! 🇲🇦🚐

Sorry they’ve taken a little longer than planned, but we’ve been super busy settling into our new campsite warden roles. It’s been a big change for us both, but Steve is now trying to get back into the swing of editing again 💻🎬

We should also have some YouTube Shorts coming very soon too, so keep an eye out for those!

You may be wondering where we are now after our post on 30th April. Well.... the story goes like this:

As one door closes another one opens and this one comes with a sea view, lovely owners, who are a family, and very professional and passionate about what they do. It's funny how life works out sometimes.

We left our old site warden role because it just didn’t feel like the right fit for us and being on a holiday park rather than a touring park meant cleaning caravans for Becky rather than doing the role she was employed to do. Then there were other things going on that we won't share on here, and to be absolutely honest it was stressing us both out to the point we were letting it take over our free time too.

The previous years wardens contacted us once they saw on our page, that we'd left (no idea how they found us) but they just popped us a message to check we were ok 🥰.

Now we are on a touring park and it fits much better with the life we chose living in our van.

Only four days a week, a much more relaxed but professional atmosphere, doing what we expected to be doing in a site warden roles, working alongside other wardens and the lovely owners, and so far we're really enjoying this new chapter ❤️

We are on a lovely site called Trevalgan Touring Park in St Ives which is on the coastal path between St Ives and Zennor.

We had a message from a guy called Wil in Ireland to say he found our stone at Baltimore in 2024 and only remembered as he was scrolling through his gallery and found the pic.

How cool is that 😍 It was lovely to chat to him, thank you Wil for contacting us.

Watching our home on wheels in the rear-view mirror hits differently this time, because it means we’ve made the decision to leave our roles as park wardens at St Agnes Holiday Park.

This wasn’t how we imagined the season going, but life doesn’t always follow the plan you set.

Sometimes you have to recognise when it’s time to draw a line and move on.

So that’s exactly what we’ve done, closed that chapter and are planning our next one.

Onwards and upwards 🚐✨
