🎥 Katy from brings over 15 years of experience working with cameras, beginning her career as a loader on major TV productions including Merlin, Atlantis, and

➡️ She progressed to 2nd AC on dramas such as Ordinary Lies and Three Girls.

🎬 Her transition into the camera rental sector came with the launch of Camera Rentals Cymru, based at Wales, where she supported both local and international crews across a wide range of genres.

⚡ A highly skilled technician, trainer, and creative technical demonstrator, Katy has in-depth knowledge of contemporary camera kit and a proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts related to camera setup and shoot requirements.

📍 Katy currently serves as Sunbelt Rentals Film and TV’s Regional Sales and Operations Manager for the UK, based at their Manchester Irlam headquarters.

🛠️ She regularly delivers training at Sunbelt Rentals depots and is supported by an extensive network of camera crew and technicians, many of whom will contribute advice and guidance as the workshops develop.

📹Leo works in the engine of Sunbelt operations- preparing and maintaining a wide range of camera equipment and keeping camera and grip crews happy in the kit room and on set for high end Film and TV productions.

👏After graduating from the University of Salford’s Film Production course, Leo worked as a freelancer in camera while picking up the odd job as a lighting camera operator.
Thanks to his mentor and connections he's stepped up to loading and camera operating on smaller projects, expanding my technical and creative skills

🎬 .camerastuff is a Senior Camera Technician in the Sunbelt Rentals Film & TV team

⚡ He has hands-on experience across the full spectrum of camera systems + support kit and worked on productions across the UK

✨ Before Sunbelt, Raf spent 6 years as a Senior Camera Tech & Kitroom Manager at a specialist rental company. There, he oversaw prep + maintenance of camera, lens, lighting & audio equipment, while supporting productions across a wide range of genres.

🔧 He regularily advises professional crews on major shoots, covering:
Full rigging of industry-standard camera packages, troubleshooting techniques
Practical insights into the role + responsibilities of crews on set & on location

🎥 He’ll be supporting our course in Manchester and London in October and Birmingham and Liverpool in Nov and Dec
