Throwback to one of my favourite equestrian branding projects, Tonya Ward Saddles

For this design, we wanted to move completely away from the typical saddle-style logos you see everywhere. Instead of the usual, we went bold with a fresh blue, soft grey, and warm cream palette to give the brand a clean, modern, and refined feel.

The result? A look that stands out in a crowded market while still feeling timeless and professional, exactly what Tonya deserved.

Someone said to me the other day, “But what is branding, exactly?” And honestly… I loved that question. 🧠💡

Because here’s the thing, branding isn’t just your logo or your colours (though yes, they matter). It’s the feeling someone gets the moment they land on your website, scroll your feed, or open your packaging. It’s how your clients describe you when you’re not in the room.

When I create a brand, I’m not just thinking about fonts and colour palettes, I’m thinking about how to capture you. Your story, your tone, your energy. The little details that make people say “that’s so you.”

So when someone asks what branding is… I’d say it’s that invisible thread that ties everything together from your visuals to your voice and makes your business instantly recognisable.
