🌴 Let’s talk about “beach bodies” 🌴

I’m trying to keep it real in a world of perfectly edited & filtered pictures..

Your body is normal , it’s real , it’s you and your story and it’s more than enough 🫶🏻

Yes i have rolls when I sit down ( we all do fyi)
Yes i have stretch marks ( the majority of the population do)
Yes my bodies jiggles & wobbles ( again every human body does)

I am human after all and I have imperfections, but do you know what I’ve hated my body for many many years, but not now, not any more.. I am learning to love & embrace it

I’ve had 3 children in a short space of time and I’ve lost 11 stone so my body has been through it, but I am so very grateful that it’s been a safe home for my children, it’s given me something irreplaceable..

How can I hate something that does incredible things on a daily basis..

Instead I am now learning how to feed my mind, body & soul in ways that enhance my daily life 🤍

So from a girl who’s learning to love her self a little bit more every day, just know that you and your normal body are enough in a society that tells us we should strive to be perfect!

Just keep showing up and pouring that love back into yourself ✨

Today I took my self off for a little day date to fill up my own cup, before the 6 week holiday chaos commences 🙊

I absolutely needed the recharge, a bit of retail therapy, nice food & good coffee is all I need to feel a bit more like me 🤎 ✨

If you don’t already do this, I would absolutely recommend it, it’s good for the soul 🫶🏻

A week of “what I eat in a day”

Monday 1715 calories 13.5k steps, a walk & gym session
Tuesday 1619 calories 20k steps, 3.4 mile walk
Wednesday 1505 calories 13.5k steps,
Thursday 1534 calories 19k steps, walk & gym session
Friday 1672 calories 22k steps, a walk & gym session
Saturday 1806 calories 17k steps
Sunday 2800 ish calories 16k steps

As you can see lots of volume eating - fruits, salads & veggies to bulk out my meals and keep the calories low

I had a high activity level with a couple “rest/ slower days thrown in”

My step count is always high, and it probably will always be high.. because 3 kids and 2 jobs ☠️ 🤷🏻‍♀️

Also lots of repetition of meals because I enjoy what I eat and it works fitting into my calorie goal 🙌🏻

Don’t be scared to be boring:
Eat the same meals
Go to sleep early
Go to the gym
Prioritise what matters and what works for you
