It’s not all about photography at the Crooked Lens Media Studio! On open day we had the opportunity to shoot a video for a limited edition coin for MCVC.

To commemorate VE Day they commisioned a one off coin to be gifted to veterans attending a meal with the Mayor of Rotherham.

In honour of the 80th anniversary of VE Day, each veteran attending a special commemorative meal will receive a limited-edition coin as a token of gratitude....

As part of the studio open day yesterday, Adam invited Abi along, someone who he often works with in his own work.

It was great to be able to shoot Abi in the new space and as ever, she absolutely smashed it.

Ok guys, this is us!

New photo and video studio officially open in the centre of Pen*stone from tomorrow!

We are located in the Beautique building (next to the Vault)

You might well have seen our work already, we've worked with many local business and community groups including PCFC (the history of football video) and Pen*stone Show (photo and video)

Gary’s turn again…

Find someone who enjoys taking headshots as much as Gary does, go ahead we’ll wait.

On the road or in the studio working with actors, performers, corporate clients, you name it, the fun of capturing someone in a still image never gets old.

These are some examples of actors and performers, so most are needed for casting directors to choose for various roles, so can’t underestimate the importance of getting it right!

Adam's turn again!

A more broad approach to some photography that Adam has been doing. He very much enjoys all aspects of photography and enjoys finding the artistry in all aspects, no matter the subject!

Often found to be driving a studio up and down the M1 in his car boot, he is very much looking forward to what a dedicated studio offers and seeing what we can achieve!

Continuing to show off some previous work, Gary had the chance to do a Spotify shoot with local Ska band The Skaleks.

Lead singer Louis wanted to explore playing with colour, so went with the red backdrop and had the band wear mostly black and white to help the colours pop. This really stands out the most when using the blue coloured gels for a nice striking image.

Just four days till the studio officially opens and plenty more work to share till then!
