In December, we sadly lost Harriet’s grandad to Pulmonary Fibrosis. Phil was 1 of 3 siblings, all 3 tragically inheriting the gene and all lost their fight. They also lost their mum to the same condition.

Pulmonary Fibrosis is one of the cruelest diseases, which slowly stops the lungs by hardening them with scar tissue. Currently there is no cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis and the diagnosis is terminal and causes immense suffering for the later years of their life.

My mum, alongside many other members of the family, is raising money and awareness for the Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis charity. Between them, they plan to cover 250k through swimming, running and walking!
