Last year, the live music industry contributed £4.5bn to the UK economy whilst accounting for 210,000 jobs.

Today, a huge number of the UK music industry’s workforce is facing unemployment.

Other countries have acknowledged the importance of their music and cultural industries by pledging specific financial support packages.

The UK government has not, so today over 1,500 artists have come together to raise awareness through the campaign.
