She’s a teacher.
She was arrested for fl0gging a 3-year-old child at Emem Nursery and Primary School, Abakpa Nike, Enugu.
Now, I don’t entirely blame these “emergency teachers” who just finish secondary school and, while waiting for JAMB, have to hustle to survive.
And the hustle? Teaching in a nursery school.
But here’s the truth —
Most of them don’t have the basic teaching skills, knowledge, or experience.
They don’t understand what a child truly is.
The pain of bearing one.
The c0st of raising one.
Or the value of a single child to a parent.
Some of them resume work without training, no orientation, and no clear guideline on how to deal with pupils.
I don’t even blame them that much.
I blame the school owners who keep hiring unqualified people just to save c0st and make more from parents.
They shouldn’t have only arrested the teacher —
Her qualifications should’ve been investigated, and the school should face charges too.
Don’t ask me what the school should be sued for.
Make person try am with my own pikin first.
Because I’m very sure this girl might not even be qualified to handle the children entrusted to her.
The school should also be held responsible!
And if this post doesn’t make sense to you, just wait till you’ve born and raised one child.
