Our first not-so-great experience 🥴

Okay guys, this isn’t the easiest post to make - but we’re all about keeping it real. We never want to recommend somewhere we wouldn’t personally go back to, so honesty always comes first.

We recently visited , which I (Bethan) was really excited to try after seeing so many rave reviews and mouthwatering videos online. The food looked amazing, so expectations were high!

We ordered the lamb kebab and mousaka (which is basically a Greek-style lasagna). I usually go for chicken but decided to try something different, and sadly, it didn’t hit the mark. The lamb was really tough and chewy, and there was hardly any pitta bread to go with it.

The mousaka was dry and looked quite different from what we’d seen online. The fries were also a letdown - hollow inside and not very fresh.

That said, the staff were absolutely lovely and the venue itself had a really nice, authentic feel - which we really appreciated🫶🏼

We’re not here to bash businesses - that’s not what this page is about. But not every experience is a win, and we owe it to you to be transparent.

Have you ever seen a more aesthetic iced coffee? 😍 And that branding… my (Bethan’s) marketing heart is obsessed!

We’re all about supporting local, and Bagels Inc is one of our go-to spots (scroll back on our profile to see our first visit 👀).

They recently invited us down to try their new iced drinks range, and let us tell you, they’re as tasty as they are cute!

Bethan went for the iced latte with hazelnut syrup (10/10), and Jardel got the iced lemonade which was so refreshing.

If you’re in Sheffield, definitely give these a try! Just a heads-up: they’ve kinda gone viral lately, so expect a bit of a queue 😅

Just what we needed to get us through the week 😍

These burgers hit different. In our opinion way better than Five guys!

Bethan got the grilled chicken burger and said it was so fresh compared to other chicken fast foods restaurants. 🍔

Jardel got the bacon cheeseburger and the hand spun thick milkshake 🥤

We would recommend this place to anyone and we will be back!! 🙌

Waverley in Rotherham just got blessed with Wingers🤤👏🏼

Here’s what we got:

🍗 The Feast Bowl (American BBQ) — 3 crispy tenders, crunchy slaw, salad, fries

🍟 Tenders & fries with sweet hoi sauce

🍪 Funfetti cookie – gooey, colourful, ridiculous

🥤 Biscoff milkshake – basically dessert in a cup

A big shoutout to the selection of sauces - there was so many options it was hard to choose😍

It was slightly on the pricier side but well worth a visit!

Curry mutton and mac & cheese, yes please😍

We normally have Caribbean food at home but we thought we’d give 876 kitchen a try! 👀

We both got the build your own platter with Bethan choosing the curry mutton, mac & cheese as a side and rice and peas. Jardel also got an additional plantain, dumplings and Jamaican beef patty.

And of course, we couldn’t leave without getting a sweet treat which was a sweet vanilla cake🤤

We would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food🙌🏽 We’ll be back for sure!
