We had a great chat with this kind fellow who was passing through the valley and happy for us to get a shot of him and his beautiful bike. Behind them is the empty space where the pub once was and in the distance is the often referred to ‘big tree’. (Not to be confused with The Big Tree in nearing Woodseats).

We are still working on a short film to celebrate this once loved community hub. If you’re still saddened or angry or have wonderful (or even not so wonderful) stories you’d like to share about the pub or your time on the Valley whilst the pub existed, then please send an email to [email protected] or send a private message on here. Or if you want to stay anonymous there’s a link on the pinned post to fill out a form. We have interviewed folks both on film and off, so if you’d prefer not to be on camera, either is fine.
