Who else loves fishing through the night?

I decided to head out of Brighton in the middle of the night to find out once and for all… is boat fishing actually better at night than during the day?

The plan was to see if the bass and squid were on the feed after dark and trust me, it was an eye-opener! 👀

I’m no chef, but this Salt, Pepper, Garlic and 🌶️ squid was unreal 👌 from sea to plate within 24 hours 🙂

Settled weather, northerly wind, good clarity and perfect light levels get you some of these beauty’s 😎 the squid are defo bigger than they were a few weeks ago that’s for sure 👌

Last night wasn’t like last week, it was very quiet on the bass front, Chris hooked up loads 😅 but let’s not talk about that! You can’t always catch big bass but you won’t catch them sitting at home. What a lovely evening it was, great company, great sunset, huge moon and a lovely warm wind. This is something I am really enjoying at the minute when I can’t get out on the boat. I also had a huge take, nearly ripped the rod out my hands but as soon as I set the hook it pulled 😬 that’s fishing!

What’s everyone else been up to with this weather? Anyone out today?
