β THE BUS DOESN'T LIKE THE COLD! β
But work continued on regardless! Upon arriving at the bus today, the car was reading a chilly -6C outside. It was discovered today that the bus does not like starting in minus temperatures and simply turned over and didn't want to fire. After a few hours had passed and the temperature has risen slightly, the bus coughed back into life.
The what was thought to be an air leak on the sliding door filter turned out to be a poorly adjusted safety valve which was releasing pressure from the door system passed a certain point. After charging the air tanks and testing it all out, all is now back to how it should be.
Today the sink was fitted into the kitchenette area ready for a tap to be fitted and a pipe to the onboard wastewater tank. Not only that, work started on the second part of the dividing wall with insulation going in between for sound deadening between the soon to be two rooms. One side of the door had also been boarded with the other side left to go. Lastly, the remaining panelling on the offside of the ceiling was completed ready for felting.
Today the diesel heater earned its money keeping the interior pleasant whilst all the work was going on. January's progress video will be going live in the next week!
