What a brilliant week it’s been working under HVH Power Services!

We’ve been working across the country, but a real highlight has been completing these 630mm 33kV straight joints, the pictures help show some of layers and tools we work with.

NEW VAN AND NEW JOB 🔥

Not many people know this, but i got sacked towards the end of the my apprenticeship. At the time, I didn’t fully appreciate the opportunities in front of me and I paid the price for it. That experience, as tough as it was, became a turning point in my life.

Since then, everything has changed. I’ve become someone that puts 100% into whatever I commit to. I’ve always taken pride in my work, pushed myself through long hours, and gone to the edge of exhaustion to meet the standards I believe in. And I don’t regret any of it—it’s shaped the person and professional I’ve become.

Starting High Voltage Harv on social media was daunting at first, but it’s turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. It’s allowed me to connect with some truly inspiring people and showcase the quality of work I’m passionate about delivering.

It also gave me the confidence and clarity to take the next big step: launching HVH Power Services. I’m proud of the journey so far, and even more excited for what’s ahead.

After an incredible year at Heighway—growing both professionally and personally—I’ve made the decision to take the leap and start something of my own.

Had a productive couple of days completing two sets of Pfisterer 3XL terminations.

The cables were 630mm², 33kV, copper wire screened.

The bolts on the screen earths and additional cable cleats will be installed on the next visit to fully comply with the manufacturer’s specifications.
