Yesterday, I had an appointment with a hairstylist at 7 AM
to get my hair braided. I arrived even before 7 AM, and she started braiding my hair. However, I quickly noticed that she was rushing the entire process. When I asked why she was in such a hurry, she casually mentioned that she had a driving theory exam at 11 AM.
I was so pi**ed! Why take an appointment if you know you have an important exam and won't have enough time to do the job properly? When she finished, she didn't even take the time to properly trim the braids or use hot water to set them. She just rushed off to her exam, leaving me with unfinished hair.
To make matters worse, she had another client waiting, but she told them they'd have to come back after her exam-while also mentioning she had work later that same day. Like, seriously? What kind of attitude is this?
Everything is just about the money these days, with no care for quality service.
I won't lie, I booked her because she's actually good at what she does, but this constant chase for money, mixed with all the stress immigrants go through, just comes off as pure greed. Now, after paying a heavy amount, I have to come home and fix my hair myself because I can't walk around with it looking like this So frustrating!🤦♀️
