Our yellow signs are back out at various locations across the to remind people to be responsible around commoners' livestock 🐴

Please read and take note of them! 😃

Getting too close to ponies can make them anxious and aggressive, and they could kick out and cause injury.

There's plenty of food for ponies in the Forest so do not feed them as they could choke and become very ill.

Keep dogs under control and ideally on leads. Never let them approach or chase the livestock.

If you do see any of the signs fallen over, please help by standing them back up - it would be very much appreciated 🙏

Okay, we are using this picture to get everyone's attention, and probably too harsh, BUT DID IT MAKE YOU THINK?

No one wants to see a dead foal at the side of the road.

Will seeing this make you slow down and persuade others your household and friend group to do so?

New life in the New Forest should have every chance to live its best existence and all types of road users should treat them with the upmost respect.

They have the right of way, and you MUST treat them accordingly.
