I never thought I would have to write this message, and it breaks my heart to do so. After a lot of thought and many sleepless nights, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to close down DL Models.
As many of you know, being a disabled business owner comes with challenges, but with the right support, it’s something I have always faced with determination and passion. Unfortunately, recent cuts in Access to Work funding mean that the support I rely on to keep the business running is no longer there. On top of this, the stress of trying to manage everything without that vital help has had a serious impact on my health. Right now, I have to put my focus on looking after myself and my family.
This decision is not one I take lightly, and I want you to know how deeply I regret having to step away from something that has meant so much to me. DL Models has always been about more than fashion—it’s been about empowerment, inclusion, and creating opportunities for people who deserve to be seen. Letting go of that is painful beyond words.

Here are just a few highlights from our impact across the last 2 years ✨
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to every model, designer, supporter, and friend who has walked this journey with me. You’ve made this community what it is, and I will always be grateful.
With love,
Debbie Lyn
