👉Genç kemancı ve besteci Ezo Sarıcı’nın yeni eseri “The Maiden’s New Journey”, 7 Mayıs Çarşamba akşamı Avrupa’nın en prestijli sanat merkezlerinden Barbican’da ilk kez seslendirilecek. Kraliyet Müzik Akademisi’nde yüksek lisans eğitimine devam eden Sarıcı, hem uluslararası başarıları hem de sosyal sorumluluk projeleriyle dikkat çekiyor.

👉Ellie Consta’nın kurduğu Her Ensemble tarafından düzenlenen özel konserde, Sarıcı’nın eseri başta olmak üzere kadın bestecilerin eserlerine yer verilecek. Gecede, ünlü çellist Laura van der Heijden, saksafoncu Jess Gillam ve piyanist Junyan Chen sahne alacak. Konser, 6 Mayıs akşamı BBC Radio 3’te canlı yayınlanacak.

👉17 dakikalık eser, Kız Kulesi’nde başlayan ve Yunan adalarından Balkanlara uzanan bir kızın özgürlük arayışını anlatıyor. Osmanlı, Yunan ve Roman halk ezgilerinden ilham alan üç bölümlü yapı; Mehveş Hanım’ın nihavent bestesi, “Patima” ve “Ederlezi” ezgileriyle zenginleşiyor.

👉Ezo Sarıcı, 5 Mayıs’ta Ozan Binici’nin Apaçık Radyo programına konuk olacak. Konsere katılmak isteyenler Barbican Centre’ın internet sitesinden bilet alabilir.

This engaging story confronted us with the realities of climate change in a way we’ve never seen before. We were honoured to present the UK Premiere here in London, and can’t wait to see what is next for her.
