We apologise for our extended outage, which started on 17th April, and was due to an IT issue out of our control. We are now back ‘on air’ via NHS Free WiFi and, if in The Stanmore Building, via Bedside Terminals. We hope to have our usual request team on the wards this evening.

On Sunday we presented a special trophy to for 50 years of volunteering at Radio Brockley . An incredible milestone, and Ron remains as involved as ever. Thanks for all your hard work and loyal service over the years.

We celebrated Ron Laver's 50-years voluntary service to Radio Brockley and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust yesterday with a special presentation of a trophy from his colleagues at Radio Brockley, with a 50-year long service certificate from the Hospital Broadcasting Association and a phone call from HBA President June Snowden. Some members of Ron's family were also present, including wife Jill and daughters Clare and Jenny. Many current and past Radio Brockley members were also in attendance to celebrate our second longest serving member - well done and thank you Ron Laver! 🤩🏆🥂

Based in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, on the Middlesex-Hertfordshire border, we are looking for new recruits to support our delivery of radio programmes and podcasts to the patients (and beyond).
