❄️ Breaking the Ice – Winter Climb of Ben Nevis ❄️

In March 2026 we’ll be taking on the UK’s highest mountain in full winter conditions to raise money for The Lost City Charity and to break the stigma around mental health.

Snow, ice, and temperatures as low as –10°C 🌨️🥶 … this won’t be easy, but the harder the climb, the bigger the statement.

👉 Applications to join the climb will be open soon. This will be open to all, but it will require real commitment and training, so entry will be through an application process.

Allow me to Re-introduce myself 👋🏻

I’m Russ, Host of The Talking Tradesman podcast & owner of RDP Painters and Decorators. I’m a Husband, a father, a friend, and iv spend 99% of my working life in the construction industry, running my business for the last 24 years as a 3rd Generation Painter and Decorator

Iv studied psychology, philosophy, evolutional psychology and volunteered as a Samaritan on my journey to becoming the host of the podcast 🎙️

TTT was built in the construction industry for everyone, with a strong base in construction - the mission is simple, break down the stigma around mental health and in particular talking openly about our struggles 💚

Ill sit down with anyone, from any background to do this - and am honoured to have hosted over 100 guests at this stage & we are only just getting started 🎙️🎙️🎙️
