Last call for entries to the annual art competition! It’s open to any artist, in any medium including painting, printmaking, drawing, collage, sculpture, ceramics and glass. This year the festival has increased the prize pot, added new prize categories and has new judges on the panel. The superb festival ambassador is the main judge alongside Malcolm Rogers. We loved collaborating with the festival for Issue #6 interviewing festival director Alison Braithwaite and artists and Tushar. Copies still available from to read these in depth features!

Congratulations to for winning the Circle 2 Success Community Award for the second consecutive year.
The award celebrates the theatre’s inclusive education and community work which makes theatre and the arts accessible to everyone. We were thrilled to feature their Touch Tours in our Issue #5 alongside our review of the artful staging of The Pirates of Penzance production. This image shows young carers from the ‘Our Voice’ forum at Gloucestershire Young Carers taking part in a Creative Storytelling workshop during February half term, working alongside local artist to bring their experiences to life. This resulted in a beautifully illustrated video offering a glimpse into a ‘Day In The Life’ of a young carer. Just one example of the theatre’s impact.

Delighted to see in the pages of Cotswold Life ahead of the retrospective exhibition of Michael Henry Harrison 6-15 June during (where we’ll distributed throughout the 10-day event). We were moved by the story of Pink’s passion to bring her late husband Michael’s works to new audiences when we interviewed her for Issue #4 of last year and it’s wonderful to see the exhibition coming together alongside a book. Warm wishes to you from us at the magazine.
