✨ Hello October! ✨

It’s a big month over here at HQ – I’m stepping right out of my comfort zone and having a professional photoshoot this week with the lovely Julie Clarke Photography 📸 This is the final piece of the puzzle for my website, which means (fingers crossed 🤞) I’ll be launching it by the end of the month!

October is already shaping up to be full-on: lots of client projects, in-person business support meetings (which I absolutely love), and hopefully sitting my second bookkeeping exam so I can complete my Level 2 bookkeeping course ✅

It’s all go, but I’m excited for what’s ahead.

✨ Finishing the month on a massive high ✨

I’ve just passed my first exam on my Level 2 Bookkeeping course! 🎉

This has been the hardest course I’ve ever taken — balancing studying remotely while running my business, supporting my husband’s, and keeping family life going. There were plenty of times it felt overwhelming… but I didn’t give up. 💪

Feeling so proud of this milestone and motivated to keep going. Now it’s on to the next exam!

Superwomen don’t wear capes… they hide at home multi-tasking everything in life🤣

Over a year ago I signed up for my bookkeeping course. Paid for an extension, and here I am with the end date creeping up… and barely any work done.

For the past week I’ve been cramming hard to catch up while also running two businesses, managing a home, being a wife and mum, and trying to learn something completely new. It’s tough, but I’m determined to finish. 💪

One thing I’ve learned? Online learning isn’t for me. It’s way too easy to put off when you don’t have someone to bounce ideas off and deadlines to meet. The live lessons are always at times I can’t make. But maybe timing really is everything… because now it’s finally sinking in, and it feels so much easier to learn than it did months ago when it was just going over my head.

So, can I smash out two exams in a month and finally complete my Level 2 in bookkeeping? I don’t know… but I’m sure as hell going to give it my best shot 😅

It’s crazy to think that after just 1 year and 2 months in business, I’ve already grown so much and now it’s time for a little rebrand!

I’ve officially dropped the “virtual assistant” title because I’ve discovered how much I love working with my clients in person. Nothing beats real connections and tailored support!
