I tested more beige paint samples than I care to admit…
but this one earned its place 🤍

This room is north-facing, which means it always felt cold and flat. Dulux Egyptian Cotton was the perfect balance of light but cosy.

Why it works so well in a north-facing room 👇
• Soft warm undertones that stop the space feeling grey

Walls, ceiling, woodwork… even the radiator. By using one colour everywhere it makes the room feel bigger.

I stopped creating for likes and started creating for her. That is my mantra moving forward into 2026. I’ve been questioning myself a lot lately as someone who’s been a creator now for almost 8yrs. This is a funny old space, always making you question and second guess yourself, your worth, the value I bring to you all. Everything is measured in metrics, likes/reach/views/engagement 🥱

But then I remember the beautiful DM’s I receive…
The woman who scrolls and thinks, “I could never do that” then feels inspired and tries… I love bringing that to you all. The pictures you send me of projects I’ve inspired you to try and suddenly I remember why I’m here!

I don’t create for the algorithm.
I create to show what’s possible.
Homes are built one decision at a time.
Confidence is built the same way. ❤️

Ad A fresh year call’s for a fresh space! I’ve given my bedroom a deep clean and finished it off with new bedding. I chose the beautiful Emmy bedding set in mink from and paired it with new cushions and a throw. Not all of this year’s diy projects because let’s be honest, nobody’s got time to sit through all of those again 😆 But this is a little look back of my biggest and most proudest moments from 2025! I kick started off the year with my bedroom makeover, adding warmth through wood panels and interest through the most amazing wall mural. Then there was the longest project of the year, my parents garden makeover. I turned their neglected, boring garden into a sanctuary for my mum to spend her summer. The circular lawn was a real showstopper. I closed the year with my living room makeover, laying real wood flooring in time for Christmas. Thank you all for all your wonderful support through 2025 and here’s to another year of crazy diy projects, home makeovers and garden content. I wonder what 2026 will bring?
