LDEA ARRESTS AFL SOLDIER IN B**G COUNTY OVER ALLEGED DRUG POSSESSION

The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has confirmed the arrest of a soldier of the Armed Forces of Liberia (AFL) in B**g County for allegedly being in possession of illicit drugs.
According to LDEA Head of Communications and Chief of Public Relations, G. Olando Demey, the soldier was arrested following an operation in B**g County and has since been transferred to the agency’s headquarters in Monrovia.

Demey said the suspect is currently undergoing investigation as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the alleged possession of the illicit substances.

The LDEA has assured the public that additional details will be released once the investigation is completed.
The agency continues to intensify its efforts to combat the trafficking and use of illicit drugs across Liberia.
