Passengers have reported being stuck on planes for hours, while pictures show packed terminals and departure boards filled with cancellations.

✈️ ‼️AIRPORT DISRUPTION: Hundreds of flights have now been cancelled across the UK.

🚨 A mum travelling with her nine-month-old baby was among passengers left stranded on planes after a technical fault at UK air traffic control provider Nats caused widespread disruption.

One passenger stuck on the runway in France told us, London Now, that some travellers had asked to get off the aircraft after being left waiting for more than 90 minutes with little information.
