What a fantastic city Istanbul is.
A busy city but a city with so much in offer.
Food and drink, kind helpful people, amazing history

It really is a city where east meets west!

One i will definitely return to, and I even I would strongly suggest you to visit.

Yesterday was a complete assault on the senses 🇹🇷✨
I started the morning with the ultimate reset: a traditional Turkish hammam. Laying on the heated marble, getting an intense scrub down, and being completely buried under a mountain of warm, silky soap bubbles was the perfect way to recharge.

From there, I dove straight into the beautiful chaos of the Grand Bazaar. It is mind-blowing to think this place spans over 60 vibrant streets! The glow of thousands of shimmering mosaic lanterns, the rich smells of fresh Turkish coffee and exotic spices like saffron and mint filling the air. Down here, haggling and bartering isn’t just shopping, it’s a way of life. You sit, you have a laugh, you share a warm glass of apple tea, and you play the game. It was very busy and the shops did get very samey after a while, but never the less needs to be a visit.

After soaking up the buzzing, modern energy of Taksim Square, I hopped on the funicular to glide down the steep hill right to the waterfront. Was hoping it was an outside one and id get a lovely photo but no, its an underground one.

Standing at the edge of the Bosphorus, Looking right across the sparkling blue water, you can clearly see the bustling Asian side of the city stretching. That was today visit. The water is absolutely alive with an incredible amount of boats—everything from massive cargo ships to the iconic public ferries crisscrossing between two different continents. 🚢

My feet are exhausted,What a city. Where East truly meets West! ❤️

Sunday, through the lens. 🎞️

There is a beautiful rhythm to this walk. It starts with the heavy, historic flint and brickwork of Sculthorpe Mill, then opens up into the airy, wild stretch of the River Wensum.

Walking the old railway line feels like following a ghost path through the reeds. I’m particularly obsessed with the clarity of the water today—the reflections are so sharp they almost look like a parallel world. 🌾✨
Swipe for a bit of monochrome drama. 🖤

A quintessential spring afternoon exploring Mill Hill and the Surlingham Church Marsh. The blossoms are out in full force along the River Yare, and I even made a few woolly friends along the way! 🌸🐑
There’s no better place to be in Norfolk when the sun is shining. Definitely a hidden gem in The Broads National Park. 🥾☀️

Afternoon walks don’t get much better than this 🌿☀️

I started out from South Kensington and made my way through the beautiful Hyde Park towards Marble Arch (which is currently having a bit of work done!).

The walk around the Serpentine was just stunning — calm, peaceful, and full of life. Spotted elegant herons standing perfectly still, swans gliding across the water, and even Egyptian geese with their little chicks 🦢

The weather was spot on for an afternoon stroll — a mix of sunshine and light cloud with a gentle breeze, making it perfect walking weather.
Finishing up near Hyde Park Corner and along Park Lane, it’s that contrast I love… nature on one side, the buzz of the city on the other.

London really does surprise you if you slow down and take it in.

✨ London Evenings Done Right ✨

There’s something truly special about London at night… the lights, the atmosphere, the buzz 👌

I took a stroll through Leicester Square, made my way past the iconic King Edward VII statue at Waterloo Place, and finished up in the stunning Trafalgar Square — and honestly, it didn’t disappoint.
From the bright lights and energy of Leicester Square, to the historic elegance of Waterloo Place, and the incredible views of the National Gallery lit up at night… every step felt like a postcard moment 📸
If you’re ever in London, don’t rush back after dinner — take the walk. Slow it down. Soak it all in.

📍 Highlights: • Leicester Square at night – buzzing and full of life
• King Edward VII at Waterloo Place – a touch of history and grandeur
• Trafalgar Square – iconic views & the National Gallery glowing in the background
• Neals Yard
