A day of music, creativity, local stories and community conversation.
Start your morning with Fiona McNee on the Breakfast Show, followed by Thelma Deacon’s Good Morning. At 13:00, Purbeck Art Weeks (PAW) continues with Thelma Deacon in conversation with artist Moira Purver, whose sculpture work celebrates the warmth, vitality and movement of both people and animals.
At 14:00, join Cathy Phippard for H’our Local History, before David Hollister takes you home with Drive Time Wednesday.
In the evening, Purbeck Youngstars celebrates the creativity, ideas and voices of young people from across Purbeck, followed by another PAW conversation at 20:00 as Cathy Phippard talks with Jeremy Avis about The Whispering Dome — an award-winning musical journey inspired by the migration of a nightingale, blending choral music, storytelling and cultures from Europe to West Africa.
The day concludes with Fiona McNee’s Words To Inspire — an hour of reflection, wisdom and uplifting thoughts to carry into the evening.
