A Funny Poem By Neil Cook
Facebook its know as social media,
But we read your life like an Encyclopaedia.
We share our thoughts and our excitement too,
We go on it when we're feeling blue.
We post our life in Blue N White,
But the criticism cuts like a knife.
We will never learn from what we post,
I think we just want to see what gets liked the most.
It causes more harm than good in our life at times,
Splitting some people with its rhythm and rhymes.
Its a big wedge in our relationship,
Then we post on here like a filmstrip.
We should post our joys, fun times and love,
Because we are all gifted and blessed from above.
Show your friends how happy you are,
Letting the world know that you shine like a star.
I want to read happy stories,
Not hear about politics and the bloody Tories.
See bright photos of us all having fun,
Then I will think my work here has been done.
So next time we post just think about what we say,
Remember our thoughts may ruing ones day.
Keep them positive with Love Peace and more,
So Hey, Lets Make Love Not War.
