Hi everyone. I just wanted to jump on quickly before this video to ask for a bit of help from the community.

We’ve had a possible sighting of a man who may be sleeping rough around the **Donnington area**. If anyone has seen him, spoken to him, or has any information that could help us locate him, please reach out or leave a comment/message. The goal is simply to make contact and offer support if he is in fact homeless and in need of help.

I also want to apologise for my content being a bit slow this month. I’m currently in the middle of doing a house up and moving in, so things have been a little hectic behind the scenes. I appreciate everyone’s patience while I get settled.

Over the summer months the outreach will still continue, but some of the items we usually hand out — like warm clothing, sleeping bags, and winter gear — may slow down for a while. What we will **still urgently need** though are donations for food, drinks, and toiletries so we can keep supporting people on the streets.

If you’re able to help, please consider donating to the GoFundMe to help us keep supplies going. Every little bit genuinely makes a difference.

Today we’re reaching out with a heartfelt appeal. 💛

A lady who has recently moved into a HMO is at one of the lowest points in her life. She’s starting over with very little — currently sitting in her room, facing four bare walls, with no TV for comfort and no basic cutlery to even enjoy a proper meal.

Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference. A small TV could bring companionship and distraction during long, difficult days. A simple set of cutlery could help her feel a sense of normality and dignity again.

If anyone has a spare small TV or some cutlery they no longer need, your kindness could truly help lift someone who is struggling right now.

Please message if you can help or share this post to reach someone who can. Thank you for your compassion and support. 💛

Tuesday evening highlights 💛

Tonight was one of those evenings that reminds me exactly why **Community Threads** was created in the first place.

We supported two lovely ladies with food parcels, and we also helped another lady move her belongings into her new room in an HMO. She’s the same lady we supported earlier in the day after she was suddenly asked to leave her family home. It’s been a tough 24 hours for her, but seeing people rally around her shows the true power of community.

This is what Community Threads is about — people coming together, chipping in, and lifting each other up when it matters most. Every donation, every share, every message of support makes a difference. 💛

A quick note regarding food parcels: I’ve been advised today that I shouldn’t directly hand out food parcels due to potential liability around allergies and intolerances. I’ve taken this on board. I’m still more than happy to help with food support, but moving forward, people will need to message the page with an exact list of items they need, or select the items themselves from my car. I may not always be in a position to do this immediately, but I will always try my best to help safely and responsibly.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support, donate, and show up for others. This is community in action. 🤝

🚨 **FOR SALE – Vega RS8 Mobility Scooter** 🚨

Vega RS8 mobility scooter – only used **once**.
Purchased for over **£2,000**, asking **£1,800**.

Sadly selling as it was bought for my friends dad and he passed away shortly after, so it’s practically brand new and in excellent condition.

This is a fantastic, high-quality scooter offering comfort, stability and reliability — perfect for maintaining independence and getting out and about with ease.

💷 £1,800

Yesterday I received a call for help from a lady who was being kicked out of her family home by her husband. Some of you might remember — she’s the same lady I asked for advice about private landlords for just over a week ago.

When I arrived, I got there just in time… she was being placed into the back of a police car. It was a heartbreaking situation, but what happened next shows what can be achieved when the right people step in.

The authorities acted quickly and professionally, and I honestly can’t praise them enough. Massive credit to **KIP** and **Telford & Wrekin Council Housing Team** for the incredible work they did. After just a couple of phone calls, she was placed into a supported HMO — less than an hour after being taken from that police car.

That’s real action. That’s real support. 🙌

I’ll be posting an update soon on how we got her settled in and what happens next.

Friday was one of those days that reminds you why kindness matters ❤️

I went to meet up with Chopper to pick up some of his washing — because when you’re living on the streets, something as simple as cleaning your clothes isn’t easy. While we were there, guess who we bumped into… Joshua! The last time we saw him, he was desperately needing a tent.

So I headed home, grabbed a tent and a sleeping bag, and took them back to him. The smile on his face said it all — he was absolutely made up. 🏕️💙

And yes… I was a total idiot and forgot to record the moment! 🤦‍♀️ But we all had a good laugh about it, and honestly, some moments are better lived than filmed.

I’ve known this man for almost 47 years. And if I’m being honest, he hasn’t always been the easiest bloke to get along with. But credit where it’s due — he’s working hard to change that.

He works full-time, grafts harder than most, and gives up pretty much all of his spare time helping others and serving our community. He never asks for recognition, and he certainly never asks for help.

But this month has hit him hard. The tax man hasn’t been kind, and it’s come at the worst possible time — right in the middle of a house move.

So this is me, swallowing pride on his behalf, asking for a little bit of support. If anyone has any spare magnolia paint lying around — a half tin in the garage, a tub you never finished, anything at all — it would make a massive difference.

As always, you know I keep the identities of the people we help anonymous 😂 but genuinely, any help would be hugely appreciated 🙏❤️

Thank you for always being the kind of community that shows up when it matters most.
