In a groundbreaking initiative by Tudi Africa, Ambassador Umanu Elijah brought together teenagers from across Etsako’s three local government areas for a transformational mentorship summit in Auchi, Edo State. Held under the theme “Educate, Empower, Entertain” with the powerful tagline “Etsako Must Shine”, the event was a vibrant mix of learning, leadership, and celebration.

🔥 Edo Assembly Clerk Under Fire Over Alleged Age Falsification, Sparks Investigation 🔥

The Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission is turning up the heat. Allegations of age falsification against Assembly Clerk Yahaya Omogbai have triggered a full-blown investigation. The Commission, led by Chair-woman Princess Igbinoba, is digging deep into claims that Omogbai may have tampered with his birth records to extend his tenure.

“We won’t sweep this under the rug,” the Commission declared, promising transparency and accountability.

Official Age vs. Alleged Real Age

Based on widespread media reports and documents submitted to court:

His Official Age: According to his records with the Assembly, Yahaya Omogbai was born on October 23, 1966. This would make him 57 years old as of 2023/2024.

The Alleged Falsified Age (The Accusation): It is alleged that his true birth date is October 23, 1960. If this is true, he would actually be 63 years old (or was 63 at the time the allegation first surfaced in 2023).
