We’ve been wildly busy these past few weeks - working back-to-back on two of our most exciting international projects to date… and my sister’s wedding, too. A floral marathon, if you will!
Doing your sister’s wedding is quite an emotional one - you want to get it totally right, whilst creating something completely unexpected. Alice said to me from the start, “Flowers are the most important part of the design for our wedding”, and with that, the pressure was on!
Dressing a marquee is never a simple task. There’s always the desire to go big - to completely transform the space - but the structure itself often resists. Our goal is always to blur the line between what’s inside and what’s beyond; to make the temporary feel permanent, as though it has always belonged, and above all, to tell the couple’s story in a way that feels personal and true.
For Alice, it was abundant with Floriston flowers - vibrant and soft all in one space. The scent of jasmine and roses was utterly delicious, with trailing clematis adding layers of intrigue. The arching forms pulled the room inward, creating a space that felt both intimate and impressive - all in one beautiful, floral sweep.
This particular design means the world to me because it brought to life an idea we’ve been dreaming about for years.
Thank you, Alice and Towny, for trusting us to create something spectacular for your wedding day!! A big thank you to Emily for helping me design and execute a wedding that was so, so special to me.
