Children and families supported by local charity PLAY TORBAY enjoyed an unforgettable day under the Big Top after Circus Brazil welcomed them to an exclusive circus skills workshop followed by a spectacular live performance.
As part of Circus Brazilโs commitment to supporting the communities it visits, performers from the internationally acclaimed production spent the morning teaching children a variety of exciting circus skills, helping them build confidence, develop new abilities and enjoy the benefits of physical activity in a fun, inclusive and supportive environment.
Following the workshop, the children and their families were invited to experience the full magic of Circus Brazil as guests at the afternoon performance, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
PLAY TORBAY provides accessible outdoor play opportunities, adventure playgrounds and support for children and young people aged 4โ19 across Torbay, with a particular focus on disadvantaged and marginalised families. Through its work, the charity helps children develop confidence, resilience, independence and lifelong friendships while ensuring free, inclusive opportunities for play.

We were so surprised and delighted to be invited along not only to a circus skills workshop but also to watch the show. The families loved it and it gave some much-needed fun and downtime to the families we support at PLAY TORBAY.
One little boy was almost speechless when he was asked how he enjoyed it. โGoodโฆ Great,โ was all he could manage, accompanied by the biggest smile. His mum said the entire experience was fantastic. โThe circus performers made everyone feel included and got everyone involved.โ Another mum told us, โAbsolutely blooming marvellous. We chatted with the performers and told them how much we appreciated the day. It was super special, we are all so lifted - itโs exactly what we needed.โ
