Where it all began….
Right back in July 2024 I went through a very tough break up. My son was born in December 2023 and I thought of nothing but a future. Months later that future was cut short.
I made the decision to move into a small VW Caddy I had bought to get to work. Financially it made sense but I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
No plan, no research. I bought myself an airbed and a sleeping bag and cracked on!
I had nothing but a suitcase.
Along the way I found YouTube, for help and advice. Ideas to be successful at living full time in a van.
Then by chance, I woke up one morning at a park up I used regularly and sat right behind me was a YouTuber I had been watching only the night before.
We had a brief chat and I decided why not give it a go!? I had never liked myself on camera, again had zero idea what I was doing but I did it anyway.
That first video as shocking as it was got 1000 views. So I kept going…..
3 months later I had monetised the channel.
How, I do not know!?
I posted a video every week.
Today I have nearly 5000 subscribers and although I don’t make huge amounts of money it has given me a new life.
I got myself a bigger van, I turned a very unhappy and uncertain time in my life into something positive.
Today I can kind of call myself a content creator! Something I never thought I’d be doing.
I have a beautiful, supportive and amazing partner who reminds me everyday that good things can happen to good people.
