Was a joy working on this album with Selena Mara. Watch this space and hers for the release of her single at Samhain 🍁👌🏻

A plethora of instruments! I've just come to the end of recording 5 songs for my debut EP. Whoop whoop! 🎉It was such a delight shaping these songs in whole new ways with the help of the wonderful Kiowa, producer and multi-instrumentalist.

I created loads of vocal harmonies, and we've got a mix of mandolin, mandola, guitar, bass, flute, low whistle, drums, percussion, fiddle and even bagpipes on some of the tracks. 🎸🥁

The result is every song takes you on a journey emotionally and acoustically, from the simpler beginnings to the full power endings. It's been a really satisfying creative process. 💖

I can't wait to share them with you!

Join us for an evening of connecting and opening our creative channels with circle singing, somatic-voice play and fire and water ceremonies, followed by an intimate concert with Mae Bird. Come and celebrate the beginning of harvest time (Lammas) with us in a beautiful nature space, held around the grandfather fire @ The Glade.

Come and be welcomed with fire and seasonal herbal tea. Arrive from 5.45pm to settle in and Kai will guide us in circle music medicine and fire connection. This will be a collaborative, somatic vocal exploration into opening our creative channels and celebrating our voices and our lives.

Then Mae Bird will connect us with the waters with her warm voice and heart felt poetry. She will guide us into the temple of our hearts where we can feel and connect with deep parts of ourselves. She will be singing original songs, inspired by nature, weaving our hearts into her tapestry of mystical song.

We will finish the night by giving the waters that we have blessed with our voices back to Mother Earth.

There is no singing experience needed for this, we'll be exploring the most natural and comfortable ways that we as individuals connect with our voices, as one. Vocal Harmony and Dissonance welcome !

Please bring cushions or something comfy to sit on. We have access indoor and outdoor spaces depending on the weather. Ideally we will be outside around the fire!
