The Battersea Power Station chimneys have been lit up purple tonight for Purple Tuesday, a global initiative that encourages businesses to improve the customer experience for disabled people.

It’s great to see how accessible the building is for everyone - they’ve recently launched interactive maps with a ‘lower screen’ function, step free routes, accessible toilets, disabled parking bays and wheelchairs and mobility scooters available to hire.

Happy Purple Tuesday 💜

Want to see your own design light up Battersea Power Station? 🎄🎨 This year, Apple has launched Your Tree on Battersea, a Christmas tree drawing competition which invites the public to design a Christmas tree on iPad and submit their creation for the opportunity to have it projected onto Battersea Power Station’s river-facing chimneys and wash towers.

The winning public entries will be projected alongside commissioned designs contributed from established artists and notable figures, such as Sir Stephen Fry and David Shrigley OBE.

The competition opens today and is running until midnight on 23rd November - so get designing! The winning submissions and artist contributions will be unveiled at 5pm on 4th December at Battersea Power Station.

To submit your tree:
1. Download the template to iPad via the link in bio then open a drawing app to get started.
2. Design your tree
3. Submit your entry via the link in bio before midnight on 23 November.

We can’t wait to see all the trees lit up on the iconic Battersea Power Station - we’d love to see some local artists up there! 🎄

Today marks the start of National Fertility Week, so we wanted to shine a spotlight on Shabana and Kate, two highly experienced female gynaecology and fertility specialists who have launched a brand new fertility service in Battersea. 💙

offers bespoke, individualised fertility advice, support and treatment to clients in and around the Battersea area. They consult from the brand new .Healthcare facility in Battersea Power Station, where cycle monitoring for IVF, egg freezing and other forms of fertility treatment can be conducted.

Shabana and Kate have partnered with some of London’s leading fertility clinics to perform the final steps of the process and procedures. They offer clients unique, one-to-one care, aiming to improve the patients’ experience, and by reducing waiting and travel times to the partner clinic.

Set on the iconic riverside venue of the Battersea Barge, Battersea’s very own fixed boat venue, three artists will perform stripped back sets of indie and folk music.

Sofar events are an incredible way to discover emerging artists, with talent including Teddy Swims, Billie Eilish and James Bay having performed at shows in the past!
