You should not agree to a free website
A free website often sounds like a gift, especially when budgets are tight. The problem is that it’s rarely free in the long run. In most cases, you don’t own the site, the hosting, or the files. You’re locked into monthly fees, limited access, and contracts that make it hard to leave. Simple changes suddenly cost extra, and if you stop paying, the site can disappear overnight.
We’ve seen businesses lose their domain access, their content, and even their emails because they didn’t control the setup. Others end up paying far more over time than they would have for a proper build they actually owned. A website should be an asset, not a trap that keeps you stuck with one provider.
If you’re offered a free site and want a second opinion before saying yes, we’re happy to check it with you.
