Speed device results from Golden Fleece going into the village with 40mph limit, November 25. Well done to 83% of drivers keeping within 40, a further 15% within 50 mph, much higher than needed as the 30 sign was just 10m away. To those 512 drivers went through above 50 please slow down for the safety of others. Shockingly 91 exceeded 60 and even 27 exceeded 70mph. First time we have covered this area and the results are disturbing. 😠

The Christmas lunch is fast approaching, and plenty of spaces for 1st December at the Memorial Hall and 8th December at St John's Church Rooms, both at noon. Historically it has open to single persons within the Parish, however as we have doubled the number there could be room for couples. Anyone can apply for an application form please email [email protected], call 01460 220063 leaving a message or pop a note into our letter box at the Memorial Hall. Please note to keep costs down there will not be a gift and It will be on a first come basis.

It is disturbing to report that our bus shelter cleaner has reported that he has discovered that someone had been sick, urinated and deposited solids in our bus shelters. Please respect the shelters provided to bus users.

In response to the Social media conversation regarding the unsupervised dog in Jubilee field, the Parish Council Amenities committee discussed the issue. The owner may have been identified and the PCSO did promise to visit to discuss the matter. If anyone can identify where the dog is getting through the hedge please message Councillor Les Mattey.

The Christmas lunch is fast approaching, and the Parish Council has agreed to double the number of places by having 2 events, 1st December at the Memorial Hall and 8th December at St John's Church Rooms, both at lunch time.
