On Sunday it was time to celebrate the very best in international talent with the return of our digital awards ceremony via YouTube. The recording of this event will be available until the end of the month -so check it out if you haven’t already!

We showcased the 6 winning films across our genre based categories and as ever the quality was excellent.

We were lucky enough to have 5 Buntingford Shorts alumni - Monica Dhaka, Paulin Gr***de, Mark Trapani, Eleonore Aguillon and Lukas Weishaar on hand to provide detailed feedback for each of this year’s finalists.

The winning films all received prizes of £75, donated by our team of local sponsors.

On Saturday 6 fantastic short films were shown as part of our local showcase event. It was a brilliant night of film!

2 of our finalists, James Farrell and Laura Gregory were on hand to introduce their film and other finalists made appearances in digital form.

Our expert panel of judges Max Hartwig-Green, Louis Holder and Henry Fish gave their feedback on each of the films.

The final placings were:
1st - Good Choice, Joseph by James Farrell
2nd - Green Ocean Gold by Olaf Lawrence
3rd - Roadside Funeral by Marty Pritchard

Some of our local finalists will be in attendance to introduce their film and answer any questions you may have about it, the process, inspirations etc! This is an invaluable opportunity to meet the creators and enjoy some top quality short films! Films begin at 7:30pm on Saturday at Christ Church URC Buntingford!
