If our sources are correct Sony PlayStation will release a new handheld next year. The device will pick up where the Playstation portal left off. Allowing gamers to access the full playstation plus catalogue on the move. Plus play their digital library.

The device will be announced in spring 2026, with a late 2026 release date. This won't be the Playstation 6 that will remain in the works but further rumours are that both the PS6 AND PLAYSTATION PORTABLE will work together in some way similar to the Nintendo Switch.
