Most of you are probably aware that Issue 28 has now been available on line at https://adobe.ly/3LxGzuT for a few days? The printed versions are on their way back from the printers and should be in the shops on Tuesday.

We have led on the GoGo Safari lion 'Prince' and his elephant friend at Whitwell Station Do you know his name? You will have to visit or go to Page 14 to find out.

We have a report and photos from the Reepham High School D of E awards evening, a piece about cataracts, and the Reepham Car Festival in September.

Have you got your tickets for the Reepham Festival (9th/10th August), and the Three Eyed Elephant at Bylaugh Park (27th July)?

A free gift is also included in the magazine this month aimed at stopping those pesky cold callers on your doorstep!

Happy reading and remember our next printed magazine will not be out until the end of September.

Les West has completed 6 years with the Bircham Centre, the past four as chairman, and this afternoon it was the time for The Bircham Centre, Reepham to say thank you together with many from the Reepham community. He was presented with a painting by local artist Ian McGilvray, together with other gifts and a celebratory Bircham Centre cake (see photos).
The garden looked beautiful and was a perfect setting for the event with many flowers at their best.
The Reepham Reepham GoGo Prince is now in place in front of the Bircham shop window.

it is 6 years since Les West first joined the trustees at the Bircham Centre and he has served the past 4 years as Chairman of the Board. Today it was the turn of the Bircham Centre and Reepham community to say thank you to him for everything he has done.
a Garden party was organised in his honour in the Bircham garden which looked great with so many flowers looking at their best. He was presented with a painting by local artist Ian McGilvray, and other gifts before being asked to cut the 'Bircham Centre' cake.
The Reepham GoGo Prince is now also positioned just outside the Bircham Charity shop for all to see.

Lots of smiles this lunchtime in front of the Reepham Rover and shortly before sitting down for another excellent lunch at the Kings Arms. This group just love the Rover, Hall and the Kings Arms! A good chat, great food and above all a chance to have a chat and make friends.

Why? Many of them live on their own and are dependent on the Rover and its volunteers each week to allow them to meet up and socialise. This is so important to us all. Do you know someone who would benefit from coming along to join in the fun? If so get in touch with Cathy or John at Whitwell Hall on 07765 321458.

Equally you may have some spare time, and feel able to help us with helping the group. They are always on the lookout for drivers and people to support the group - you may discover just how much fun be had helping others. Call Cathy or John for a chat on the number above.

Just a quick note to remind everybody that we shall soon be starting to put the next issue of Reepham Town News together and that our copy deadline is 25th June, a little later than usual (and as stated in the last issue) and that we anticipate distribution into the shops around 6/8th July.
If you wish to tell us about events coming up in July and August you need to get the details in to us by the 25th June at the very latest, and remember the 'early bird usually catches the worm'!

The following one will have a copy deadline of 14th August and should be in the shops before the end of August.

This variation is to allow the volunteers who produce the magazine to have a break during July/August.

With February being such a short month our next issue 25 is now on line and has gone to print this morning. Printed copies should be available in the town by the middle of next week.
Life with the 2nd Reepham Scout Group seems to be very exciting and there is little wonder that so many young people want to join in the fun. And even the leaders have fun - see the photo of them having won the Monopoly Run in London recently.
The full magazine can be found at https://adobe.ly/3LxGzuT. Happy reading!
