Our cover star this month is by the amazing Claire Chapman-Smith of Lily Rose Cakes . We have been watching Claire's work for a while and love her more alternative wedding cakes and ability to take on challenging themes and come up with the best ideas, so it was a complete no-brainer that we asked her if she would be interested in creating a tutorial for the House of Horrors issue.
When we received her design (and subsequent tutorial) we were blown away. Not only was it truly awesome (as you can see) but it incorporated so many different techniques and methods. It is a true masterclass in how to combine numerous techniques to create a showstopper that is not only cohesive and creative, but fun and daring.
