OK so we have had a little break, which was lovely, but now we are back. We're working on our next podcast series. and we're also putting together some new talks for our live events.

The diary is filling up with season 2025/26 talks and as always we are really looking forward to that. The first talk of the season is 'Killer at Large' at the Bakewell Town Hall in Derbyshire (DE45 1BT), a fabulous setting. Tickets are on sale for 7pm on Friday 3rd October 2025.

Professor David Wilson gave a compelling talk at the CrimeCon event.

After which the actor and presenter, Emilia Fox conducted an on stage interview with the Professor about his career. They are good friends and appear on the series 'In The Footsteps of Killers'.

CrimeCon UK had their first 'Lifetime Achievement Award'
and Emilia presented it to the Professor. It was a delightful occasion.

We met up with and chatted to lots of listeners at CrimeCon this year. It was a chance to catch up with other Content Creators and listen to some of the amazing presentations.

We visited Bakewell Town Hall this week. Bakewell is in the beautiful Peak District National Park, situated on the banks of the River Wye.

The Town Hall is a fabulous venue and we are super excited that we have been asked to deliver two of our talks there, one in October 2025, the 'Killer at Large' talk and one in March 2026, the 'Pottery Cottage Murders' talk.

We've already had lots of interest so we look forward to seeing everyone at Bakewell Town Hall on Friday 3rd October 2025.

Looking forward to returning to Bakewell. 😃

We were kindly invited to Bakewell Town Hall last night to see Cheish Merryweather, a research psychologist and psychopathy expert. The evening was entitled 'Murder: Staged' and was a very interesting talk.
Cheish's tour continues with many dates throughout this year, so check those out.

It's a while since we released a new episode of the podcast. We have been busy though with live talks, conducting interviews and research and visiting places of interest.
But our next case is almost ready we just have a little more recording to do and then our production team can do their magic. We'll let you know a release date.

We went on a fact finding mission and conducted a really in depth interview, the story we were told was an emotional one. It's a story of how life can change very quickly because of the decisions we make.

We can't wait to bring it to our listeners. So keep 'em peeled. 😊
