If I could sit with the version of me who was just starting out in her career, full of ambition but unsure of where to channel it, I’d tell her these things.

Still trying to find the words for what we experienced on Friday…

The Executive Branch Bloom Zimbabwe 2025 gathered a room full of women who showed up not just to listen, but to lean in, rise up, and bloom boldly in every part of their lives.

From the first welcome to the final word, the energy was electric. We laughed, cried, reflected, danced, connected, and most importantly, we remembered who we are and what we’re capable of.

You are more than what you do ✨

Too often, ambitious women tie their identity
to their work,
their achievements,
or the roles they play for others.

We measure our worth by productivity, by the goals we check off, by how much we can give.

But who are you beyond the work? Beyond the title?

The woman in this dress? She is still her, even when she’s not strategising, leading, or pushing towards the next milestone 🤭. She is worthy, radiant, and whole, simply because she is.

Your ambition is powerful.
But so is your presence.

Don’t forget to live, to enjoy, to exist outside of the work. Because when you do, success no longer is just an outcome… it becomes a reflection of the full, thriving woman you are becoming.

Career Growth Hack: The Power of Sponsorship 🚀

Let’s be real—hard work alone won’t get you to the top. Talent matters, but visibility and opportunity matter just as much. 👀

When I started my career in transport, I quickly realised:
➡️ Diversity was visible on the ground, but not in leadership
➡️ Talent wasn’t the issue—access to decision-making spaces was
➡️ My biggest career moves happened because of sponsorship, not just mentorship

So what’s the difference?
🔹 Mentors give advice
🔹 Sponsors open doors. They advocate for you, push your name forward for opportunities, and make sure your work is SEEN in the right room.

This is exactly what I explore in my latest article for Focus magazine—UKs leading and influential authority in transport & logistics — how industries (and individuals) can move beyond quotas to real inclusion by ensuring diverse talent isn’t just in the room but at the table.

I don’t know about you, but locking into 2025 has felt like a slow process 😞🔏

The back end of last year hit me hard—I felt exhausted, burned out, and overwhelmed. Juggling the demands of life, career, and business can sometimes feel like running a marathon with no finish line in sight. And as a high achiever, it’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking you can (or should) do it all on your own. I completely shut down.

But here’s what I’ve learned: you don’t have to carry it all by yourself and it’s just as important to slow down, take time out if you need too.

What made the biggest difference for me was leaning into my circle—a group of trusted mentors, peers, and friends who I could call on for guidance, encouragement, or just a listening ear.

So, here’s my advice:
✨ Audit your circle. Who are the people you can trust to give honest advice and support?
✨ Ask for help. High achievers often hesitate to reach out, but vulnerability is strength
✨ Pour into your relationships. The people who show up for you are worth investing in

As I settle and enter into 2025, I’m committing to staying grounded and leaning on the power of connection. Because no matter how ambitious your goals are, they’re not meant to be achieved alone.

Shoutout to the women that have dragged me out of my bubble. By force and fire and reminded me of my why. I’m forever grateful .mutopo

Over the past few years, I’ve learned the power of taking time to reflect—not just on what went well but also on the challenges and lessons. It’s not always easy, but it’s been one of the most transformative habits for me as a leader and in my personal growth.

I want to share a little of what this process has taught me because it’s something anyone can do. Reflection has helped me make clearer decisions, set better goals, and, most importantly, understand myself on a deeper level.

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and birthed The Executive Branch. What started as a vision to create a space for ambitious women to connect, grow, and evolve has become something bigger than I could have ever imagined. 🌟

Fast forward to today:
✨ 360 attendees at our in-person events
✨ 400+ women impacted through virtual sessions
✨ A 3,000-strong community on social media
✨ 35 phenomenal women sharing their stories and inspiring us all

And this is just the beginning.

Every step has been a testament to the power of community, collaboration, and consistency. Together, we’ve built something extraordinary—a movement that empowers women to rise, evolve, and claim their space unapologetically.

As we continue to grow, I’m reminded that dreams only work when we do. So here’s to the next chapter, the bigger milestones, and even more lives changed.

To every woman who has shared her story, attended an event, or simply cheered us on—thank you. You are the heartbeat of this movement. Let’s keep evolving together. 💪

And to the best accountability partner who helped me move this vision from my head to reality I hope that you know your kindness to believe in me has ignited sparks in other women and the work you did with me will be felt in many generations to come ❤️

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by such inspiring people around me. So I want to introduce you to two ladies who’ve made moving to Essex that much nicer ✨

First is , she is an author, leader in her profession and just an all round positivity and identity cheerleader 📣

Next is Matilda, we met during my influencing days 😅 where she introduced her brand - high quality workwear for working women. Her story, her grit, her resilience and to witness her growth over the past few years has just been transformational for me also.
