Tuesday and Wednesday last week were spent with my favourite fellow Caffeinated Chaos Demon, working on the website copy and design for UK Eco Projects.

This has been a fun project to work on, focused on matching qualifying homeowners with local installers for government-backed eco home improvements, such as solar panels and cavity wall insulation.

Lots of happy green imagery 💚

My favourite thing so far is that Sarah's built the homepage to look like a house, with windows leading to the homeowner and installer sections. Tis neat, tidy, and ever so satisfying 😍

Some good points in here, particularly about not hiding your personality behind a screen of professionalism. That being said, you do need to strike a balance between the two!

Yes, there's room for personalities on LinkedIn, but it does remain a professional network 😉

At CILT (UK)'s headquarters in Corby last week to deliver a social media audit!

This in-depth look featured analysis of 12 months' worth of posts over four platforms, and on the whole what the team is coming up with is excellent, especially on LinkedIn (fantastic engagement levels!).

We've used the audit to identify any tweaks and improvements that can be made to further bolster their presence, including updates to their social profiles, revisiting and recommitting to their content pillars, and creating some post design templates in Canva to give them a more consistent look.

This was a fun one to work on 🤩

Please welcome Get Social's new Junior Marketing Executive, Pablo!

After a short interview process, Pablo is already getting stuck into things at Get Social HQ, closely following the excellent SOPs written by Pascal. He currently excels at face gripping, camouflage when it's time to do some work, and watermeloning.

He passed his 30-second probation with flying colours, and once he's a bit bigger and more confident in the role of Scaly Supervisor, he'll be joining me in the office 💗
