🐾 Happy World Animal Day! 🐾

Theo usually gets told off for hopping on the table… but when Kali smooshed a pile of eggs - I was not dealing with it and so Theo happily hoovered them up - a win for him and for me. Less mess to clean = happy mum, happy cat 😹.

Sometimes our pets cause chaos, sometimes they save the day - and sometimes, just like Mog, they do both at once. So maybe he does deserve an egg for breakfast?

🎥 Future Proof Friday Tip: Keep it short!

When you film something fun - like me and Kali on the zip wire - it’s tempting to just let the camera roll, especially if you’re on your own and don’t have someone else to hit record at the right moment… But long clips take up space and can feel like a chore to watch back later.

✂️ Trim down to the best moment
💾 Save as a new clip
🗑️ Delete the long original

It’s a simple habit that makes your videos quicker to rewatch and frees up storage on your phone.
Shorter clips = sharper memories. Win win 💛

Yesterday we went to Longleat for the Icons of the Sky. .. The last two years I’ve come back with lots of footage and memories - in fact the first 101 cohort will see some in their lesson this week!
But this year I barely touched my phone. Due to the weather all the displays were cancelled before we’d arrived. It was chilly and the kids were pretty knackered after the return to school, Simon was still on New York time so we took it slow and just enjoyed the day in between hiding from the showers 🌧️
Sometimes the memories are in the moment, not the camera roll.
☝️Three fairly rubbish phone photos from me. Then the terrible shot of me was taken by Mia while she was waiting for our lunch.
