This time we were with Health and Social Care T-Level students at City Of Stoke On Trent Sixth Form College as they shared their thoughts and voice to the project.

Kwanzaa Collective UK invite you to celebrate Black History Month 2025 on Saturday 4 Oct in a FREE Centenary creative, cultural family day that will include a celebration of the art, music and food of people of African and Caribbean descent. There will be a wide range of workshops and performances for all to enjoy.

As a special centenary celebration, we will focus on the achievements of local Black figureheads and influencers, from the past and present day.

The day will include

* Crafts and making
*Dancing. music and singing
*Ghanaian acrobatics
*Stalls and more

This year’s Black History Month theme is “Standing Firm in Power and Pride,” a powerful tribute to the resilience, strength, and unwavering commitment to progress that defines the Black community in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Beyond. Free, 11am – 5pm.
