Three games filmed, edited, and delivered in a week for Elgin City. In at the deep end, but a thoroughly enjoyable experience! Hope it’s been enjoyable viewing, along with the cinema camera blurred background post match interviews along with the highlights . Will continue to evolve and tweak as the season goes on!

Let me introduce you to someone. This gentleman in the top left photo is a man called Robert Alistaire Hutcheon, and he is my grandfather.

To give some backstory Robert did many things in his life. Joined the Black watch, joined the police, went to different areas to the world. Above all though, this man loved Football! Highland League in particular. He would literally go to any game he could. Elgin, Lossie, Huntly, Inverurie, we could be here all day. He had two daughters, one being my mum Julie, and my Auntie Jackie. Robert would tell them how their dad could not wait for them to be parents, and that one day he would have a grandson/grandsons that he could take to every Football game in the local area.

Tragically, he passed away in 1989, after he didn’t make it in an operation to remove a cancerous tumour. Seven years later I was born, the first of five Grandsons. I’ve done a lot of cool things in these last couple of years, but this week when visiting my grandmother and telling her I would be filming Elgin City matches for the BBC, she told me “Your granda would of loved what you are doing now.” That filled me with immense pride, and I chose to take this photo with me so I could look at it just before kick off today, and to somehow have him in spirit to fulfill his dream of being to attend a local football game with his grandson.

So Robert Alistaire Hutcheon. This one was for you today fella! We may never have met in this life, but I do hope we meet in some point in time. I’ll keep doing what you taught my mum & auntie Jackie to do, keep putting one foot in front of the other! ❤️

Proud to announce that I shall be capturing and delivering you all the moments from all of Elgin City’s home games this season.

It all starts Saturday, so let’s get to work 😎

Elgin City Football Club are delighted to announce the return of Elgin City TV and the return of a comprehensive highlights package!

Match highlights will include full commentary and will be available for all our home league and cup games.

We hope this will be welcome news for our loyal supporters who attend Borough Briggs each week, but it will also be great news for our fans who are based across the world who will be able to tune in and see the key moments from our home games.

We are delighted to confirm that our footage will be filmed, produced and edited in partnership with The Lighthouse Podcast Studio.

As our content increases we hope to start live streaming PPV matches for our fans based outwith the UK, however we do not currently have a date when this service will be live.

Elgin City TV highlights will be available to view on our YouTube channel the day after each game starting with this Saturday’s League 2 match against Forfar Athletic!
