I’ve never had such deep conversations with actors before, and this commitment has massively paid off because their performances are truly stunning. It’s been a year since I properly put my Director’s hat on. I was worried that perhaps I might be a bit rusty, but it turns out the break did me a lot of good.

There was no pressure or expectation, and having spent a year in my full time role as Head of Creative, I was able to better communicate what I wanted from the actors and crew.

I also think being 39 years old…the amount of f***s I have left to give are pretty much running out 🤪😂! So I just thought ‘why not just give it your best shot and see what you got’ 💪🏻

This still from the shoot pretty much encapsulates my vibe for this weekend. It’s been a busy 5-6 weeks as I have prepped for this year’s Christmas film alongside my full time job. It’s been an absolute joy but I must say my bed feels the most cosy it’s ever felt haha! It’s always a strange feeling when you go from super busy to not at all - a mixture of relief and sadness. However it’s given me the bug to make stuff again so I’m already thinking ahead to what’s next 😊 👀

I feel truly blessed to be able to tell this story for such an incredible cause. And I got to make it with THE BEST people. We float the word culture around, but I have to say…for me, you simply cannot beat the on set vibe.

It’s announcement time! I’m proud to share that for this year’s Christmas film I am partnering with

Having previously worked together on a video for Lewis Capaldi, we stayed in touch with the idea we will work together again…and here we are!

Filming begins tomorrow, so watch out for some behind the scenes pics and vids. And keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks for updates on when the film is set to go live.

Sorry to be that guy...but Christmas is starting to feel like it’s around the corner. The only reason I mention it is because, as some of you know, I produce a Christmas film every year.

Well…this year is no different. I will be creating a video for a very special charity which has given the project a whole lot of purpose. There will be more news to follow, so watch the space.

For now, I have pulled together a playlist of all my existing Christmas films should you want a bit of a refresh 🙂

Is Imposter Syndrome a curse? Or is it a reflection of some really positive traits? Maybe it's time we flip the narrative and stop telling ourselves that having I.P. suggests something's off about us, but instead reflects some humble and awesome qualities.

I wish I could go back 15 years and give myself this advice. I was forever comparing myself to others which created a major obstacle whenever I was trying to come up with ideas for videos. I always felt like I would fail to live up to other's expectations.

What I failed to realise is that I had a unique message to share, so comparing myself to others was a pointless exercise. Ultimately, whatever you make is going to be unique because you're the one making it, and expectations is not a healthy metric to measure your success against.

It’s been a while since I have made an emotional piece of content…something that sends shivers down my neck as I’m writing the words on the page or picturing the scenes in mind. So, I’m reaching out to bands / artists who may be looking for their next music video. 📽️

I’m particularly interested in those whose song grabs you by the feels and has room for a story to go with it.

This week has been a test and a half. Add a hamstring strain into the mix during today’s sweat fest of a run session….But I’m still smiling ☺️ A couple of days rest and I’m sure I’ll be back on it again 🏃🏼‍♂️💨
