“BRAVE was a very special period in my life. I was seeing somebody for the first time in a long time; that I found very interesting which does not happen that often. I was into this person, but at the same time, I had all this baggage from my previous relationship that was hard for me to let go of. I think I'd been affected a lot by that relationship.”

“I think it's really harmful that we put a certain type of body on a pedestal and praise it as being the most fashionable and chic when, in reality, all bodies are beautiful. All bodies deserve to have clothes that they can feel good in. There are some designers whom I’ve noticed have made the shift and are being actively open about upping sizing options.”

“I got into modelling because I wanted to see more feminine presenting plus-size men existing in fashion. I love that the magazine has allowed me to explore topics and conversations, I never had the chance to do in modelling. I do feel like I knew what I wanted, and I've been working towards that for the last 6 years.”

Travis was interview by Michelle Noel who was his mentor from 2nd year of university. Travis talks about body positivity, plus-size male models, and more.
