🆕 NEW REVIEW: “PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT – SOUND THAT RECREATES THE HUMAN EXPERIENCE”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If music were an illicit substance, Peter Hook & The Light would be the kind you never quite recover from—warm, irresistible, disorienting in the most wonderful way. Their show is less a performance than a human experience, a reminder of why music can feel like food for the soul and create an internal euphoria. To understand why a night with Peter Hook & The Light hits so hard, you have to understand the journey that carried Hook here.

🆕 NEW REVIEW: “SOUTH ARCADE PROVE THEY’RE THE NEXT BIG THING AT SOLD-OUT BIRMINGHAM SHOW.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

South Arcade’s stage setup was impossible to miss—four giant graffiti cans flanked the stage, with the band’s logo displayed proudly behind a raised platform for the drums. Two small platforms on either side hinted that the guitarists had plans for them later (spoiler: they did). Just before 9 p.m., Harmony Cavelle (vocals), Harry Winks (guitar), Ollie Green (bass), and Cody Jones (drums) hit the stage.

Harmony is a natural frontwoman—her presence, her voice, her charisma—it all comes effortlessly. The entire band works together so cohesively that it’s impossible not to get swept up in their energy. Fans threw Pokémon cards onto the stage (which the band found hilarious and adorable), crowd-surfed, and jumped on shoulders throughout the set, adding to the wild, electric atmosphere.

🆕 NEW REVIEW: “A HEARTFELT, HIGH-ENERGY NIGHT THAT LEFT THE CROWD BUZZING.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 out of five

Near the end of the set came the moment everyone was waiting for. The place went wild as soon as the guitar intro to “Teenage Dirtbag” started. The band was entirely drowned out as the fans roared every line. It was just what everyone had come for, messy and joyous. The band grinned their way through the last chorus, seemingly surprised by the volume.

🆕 NEW REVIEW: “BAROQUE AND ROLL: THE LAST DINNER PARTY BRING DRAMA AND PRECISION TO BRIDLINGTON SPA THEATRE.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Last Dinner Party already know how to look striking. Tonight, they proved they don’t need to lean on it. The aesthetic might bring people through the door — the songwriting and live performance is what keeps them there.

🆕 NEW REVIEW: “THE HIVES TURN VENUE DOWNGRADE INTO HIGH-VOLTAGE TRIUMPH AT
GLASGOW’S O2 ACADEMY”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As the set barrelled toward its finale, the bond between band and audience grew tighter. Bodies moved in unison, the floor shook, and every chorus felt communal. By the time the final notes rang out, there was little doubt: what could have been a compromise became a triumph. Glasgow didn’t get the Hydro spectacle, but it got something better—The Hives in their purest, most electrifying form.

🆕 NEW REVIEW: “LOYLE CARNER IS AN EXCEEDINGLY SPECIAL TALENT PAVING THE WAY IN HIPHOP AND IS DESTINED TO BE NAMED AS ONE OF THE GREATS.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

During the encore ben came out to perform one last song ‘ a lasting place’ but before this he performed a poem which he does at every show he plays. Poetry is something very deep to him as he has released a poetry book “Not Waving, But Drowning”, also the name of this second album. During the poem he reflects similarly in his music, to his family, emotions and life experiences. He also talks about immigration and his dislike of the far right.

Loyle Carner is an exceedingly special talent paving the way in HipHop and is destined to be named as one of the greats

🆕 NEW REVIEW: “THE HUNNA BRING CHAOS TO SOUTHAMPTON AND SOMEHOW NOBODY BREAKS A BONE.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 out of five

Because we’re all about context here, let’s revisit a bit of The Hunna’s history. Formed in 2015, the band sprinted onto the UK alt-rock radar with ‘100’ and ‘Dare’, before having a spectacularly public breakup with their old label. But like a phoenix reborn from its ashes, they rose again and their dedicated fanbase welcomed them back with open arms. Their music is all about emotion – songs about heartbreak and defiance – and it is proof that if you write songs that resonate, your fanbase will follow you anywhere… including a packed out Southampton venue.
