What an amazing day we had running a bushcraft birthday party for Hannah and Charlotte on Sunday.

What a great bunch they all were to work with. They went home with the soap and paracord bracelets they made and had a great time lighting fires and climbing trees. They will have the memories for years to come of what the girls said was the best party ever 🪵🔥🌲🌳🤩

A great home Ed teen session with some camp crafts and, what they all enjoyed, conker games!

Our Rika Rangers had a fantastic evening in the woods making and playing conkers. This needed a variety of skills including knot tying, hand drill use and obviously aiming 🤩

It’s always a great morning when we are at for a woodworking session.

A variety of projects this session including wood spirits, wands, butter spreaders, fox bookmarks, spoons and even a sword and lightsaber 🪵🪓

What a great day our team had at helping the year 6s kick off their endeavour awards.

A day of outdoor learning that included shelter building, fire lighting and cordage/bracelet making.

Well done to all the children that took part and learnt something new with us.

A big thankyou to the team that ran it on the day including , Alan and our wonderful helper Abbey who is one of our Rika Rangers and an older pupil at the school.

This weekend saw us delivering a bushcraft day including archery, shelter building and fire lighting for a church youth group followed by the bodgers meet where we finished the shelter for the pole lathes.
A busy and productive weekend despite the weather! 🌦️
